Taster Trek to Kingscote

Back to Guided Walks page

Meet for refreshments at Hunters Hall at 10:00. The walk starts at 10:30, passing through sheep pasture in Hay Bottom. Field paths lead us to the developing Hazlecote Farm. We cross farm land to the always interesting Kingscote village. Lunch available at the inn after the walk, if required.

Refreshed at the start in Hunters Hall, a shorter mainly flat walk, with a taste of pastureland, farmland, and an interesting rural village to finish.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.

PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
