The walk was checked today [7th Feb] and with the recent snow and now rain the route is very muddy in places so please come in waterproof Boots.

A morning walk along the High Street of this small medieval market town to the Almshouses, then taking bridleways south to Ashwicke and returning through the fields on footpaths. (No stiles) Please bring a drink and/or snack. Lunch choice of 2 pubs or a teashop. Famiiles Welcome

Warden leaders will take all reasonable care and precautions but each walker is ultimately responsible for their own safety and for determining their capability to complete the chosen walk.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.

PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (01451 862000) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
