Around the Plough
This walk in the ancient Wychwood Forest leaves Finstock passing a holy well on the way towards historic Wilcote Manor. The return route is along the Evenlode via Stonesfield and the Oxfordshire Way. Lunch at The Plough after the walk.
This is a fairly gentle walk and gives nice views of the Evenlode Valley but also passes through wooded areas. May be muddy after prolonged rainfall. Lunch orders will be taken at the start of the walk. PLEASE NOTE THE DISTANCE HAS NOW BEEN SHORTENED AS SOME PARTS HAVE BECOME DIFFICULT FOLLOWING THE HEAVY RAIN. UNFORTUNATELY THE PLOUGH WILL BE CLOSED. THE NEAREST PUB IS A SHORT CAR DRIVE AWAY.
