A short walk on the Longest day…..Up to a Down!

On the walk over it was found that Car Park charges were removed in the Spring so please don't be put off coming, and you can relax over a drink at the end of the walk without worries!

From Bathampton we walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal, before climbing up to the downs. Good views across the valley to Little Solsbury Hill. Hopefully the wild flowers will be in bloom? Please bring a drink. Not suitable for Pushchairs.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.

PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (07841 663607) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
