Historic Bus Rally with GWR

Following on from the success of our three previous Bus Rallies, and last year we weren't affected too badly by it being the Football World Cup Final Day; this year we clash with the British F1 Grand Prix held at Silverstone! Despite the day chosen we are working with the GWR Diesel Department to make it a good weekend. The Diesel Gala runs from the 9th through to 10th July, and is a well established event.

Again as last year we will be hoping to run a bus service from Toddington to Broadway, and this year to join our two sections of operational railway a 'Rail Replacement Service' to and from Winchcombe, to link in with the timings of the services on both sections. All will be conditional on the availability or willingness of the bus drivers to do either of the trips. The format will be similar to the previous events and in anticipation of the number of busses attending with associated traffic movements, and commercial stalls, all parking for volunteers & visitors apart from a very few staff members will be in the field.

The other good news is that we are holding last years prices for the stalls - please note however that there are only TWO days for the Diesel Gala 9th & 10th July this year. The stall-holders' vehicles that cannot be parked within their pitches will also be directed to the field. The remaining un-allocated spaces at the back of the Flag & Whistle will be used as an overflow for the Disabled Bays by the loading bank.
