This is the first in a series of four circular walks encompassing the Windrush and Wardens Ways. This walk takes us out on the Wardens Way to Roel Gate, returning via the Windrush Way. We should get wonderful views down the Sudeley valley. Bring a packed lunch.
These four walks allow the walk er to complete both the Wardens and the Windrush Ways by the end of the series. All four walks will be offered in the first six months of the year.
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (01451 862000) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
