The Abbey, the Settlement, and the Fort
A walk from the Abbey to the Settlement by Coopers Hill then via Pope’s Wood to the Beacon and back through Prinknash Park. A shorter walk with moderate climbs but can be more strenuous if wet underfoot. Good café by the Abbey.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs.
