The planned route takes in West Kington, North Wraxall, Ford and Long Dean but will depend on whether the By-Brook is high! A visit to the Castle may be possible. Please bring a picnic lunch. Not suitable for pushchairs.
There are a number of routes from Ford back to Castle Combe - we will choose the one that is not too muddy!
This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
PLEASE: always remember to wear appropriate footwear because some walks may be steep and muddy in places. Dogs are not allowed on walks, except guide dogs and hearing dogs. It is advisable to check the website or call the Cotswolds Conservation Board (01451 862000) beforehand for details of any changes, particularly during bad weather.
