An opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team working in one of the country’s finest landscapes. The Cotswolds Conservation Board is seeking a highly motivated planning and landscape officer.
You will ensure that the purpose of the AONB designation and the importance of the management of the landscape are taken into full account and, where possible, enhanced when considering planning and transport matters.
You will be the lead officer and first point of contact for planning and transport issues and the future review and development of the Cotswolds AONB Management Plan, preparing and developing new planning and transport policies and position statements for adoption by the Board.
We are seeking an MRTPI and/or CMLI qualified professional with at least five years’ experience, with an in-depth knowledge of planning and landscape assessment, as well as the ability to blend planning and landscape strategy and policy skills.

Three new Board members are being sought for appointment to the Cotswolds Conservation Board as part of a national recruitment campaign by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
The Board members will be instrumental in helping to conserve and enhance the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), together with promoting a greater awareness and enjoyment of its special qualities.
The appointments will commence from April 2015 and are initially for up to three years.

Weekend Cook required at the Cotswold Lion Cafe
After an extremely successful first year we are looking to recruit additional staff to work in the Cotswold Lion Cafe at the Old Prison, Northleach.
Must be capable of making sandwiches, producing simple meals and baking cakes.
Our menu uses fresh local produce and is of a high standard.
The post would suit an enthusiastic home cook of neat and tidy appearance.
