Many local authorities within the Cotswolds AONB offer grants for a variety of projects that benefit the long-term health of the area.  Because funding streams, job titles and grants are continuously changing you are advised to contact your local councils at an early stage in the development of ideas.

It is important to realise that many grants today are aimed at projects with community involvement and/or involving a partnership approach between different bodies and private individuals.

Funds available from councils vary between 30% and 50%.  Grants tend to operate on a first-come, first-served basis; however the different grant schemes are administered in a variety of ways.
