Student Placement
A student placement opportunity is available at the Cotswolds Conservation Board, for a minimum of 6 months on a part or full time basis. The placement is unpaid, but traveling expenses will be met.
The Conservation Board is looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and capable undergraduate student to deliver the following:
Student Placement - 'Sustainable Tourism'; Implement a range of activities to help the Board deliver its Sustainable Tourism Strategy and Action Plan. The role will involve a wide range of communications activities with tourism businesses, including preparing newsletters, organising events, conducting research and providing information and support to help businesses gain a better understanding of the Cotswolds AONB and how they can reduce their environmental impact.
The student will gain experience of working in a professional land management and conservation organisation and will undertake valued and interesting work, contributing to the management of an internationally recognised landscape.
The Cotswolds Conservation Board looks after the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Board works to:
- Conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the AONB
- Increase the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the AONB.
