Downloadable Walks


There are a number of downloadable walks in the Cotswolds AONB available from this site. Each walks sheet includes a route description and a map.
North Cotswold Walks: These walks in the north Cotswolds are based around Bourton-on-the Water, Burford, Chipping Norton and Stow-on-the-Wold . The walks are designed to enable people to get to their starting point using public transport and offer a great chance to get outside and enjoy one of the UK’s finest landscapes.
Step into the Cotswolds: Six walks in West Oxfordshire devised as part of the Cotswolds Green Tourism Project, with funds raised through the Visitor Payback Scheme. The walks are based at Milton-Under-Wychwood, Stonefield, Finstock, Ramsden and Chipping Norton.
Walks on Wheels: These walks outlines fifteen short routes that can be explored by users of wheelchairs, power scooters and children's buggy. Walks on Wheels will help you to enjoy quiet country paths, villages or market towns. Most are suitable for all wheel users others may not be suitable. The project was devised by the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens to mark 40 years of helping to improve access to the Cotswolds and conserve its landscape.
Cotswold Way Circular Walks: The Cotswold Way National Trail is 102 miles and stretches from Chipping Campden to Bath. However, it is not just a long distance path for long distance walkers. There are now 12, easy to follow circular walks that take in some of the most scenic parts of the Cotswold Way. Each route is designed to be as convenient as possible, whether arriving on foot, by car or by public transport, and highlights places of interest as well as that all important refreshment stop. A perfect way for exploring the UK's newest national trail.
