Transport Working Group
The Living and Working Sub-Committee has set up a working group of representatives from the seven highway authorities in the Cotswolds AONB, together with the Highways Agency. The role of the group is to implement the transport actions in the Management Plan.
Currently the group is arranging for audits of road signs on major routes in an attempt to reduce visual clutter, seeking better approaches to traffic calming in rural areas, and arranging for the installation of more gateway signs on the boundary of the AONB.
