Do you know your lesser butterfly from your common spotted? Your fragrant from your pyramidal? Rudge Hill, Cranham and Sheepscombe commons all have fantastic displays of orchids, many of which will be in flower in early June. As well as learning how to identify some of the more commonly found members of this fascinating family of plants, we will also be searching for some of the rarer ones. Along the way we will spend a bit of time looking at some of the other wildflowers that make the commons so special and giving some tips on how to identify them.
No need to book, just turn up on the day.
