Hedgelaying courses
Hedgelaying courses are held between November and February each year, last for two days and cost £80 per person. The courses are in the Midland style, aimed at beginners, and trainees will be taught the basics including clearing, trimming, cutting and laying the pleacher, staking and binding.
Each course is two days long from 09:00 to 16:00. Places are limited to 12 for each course. You will need strong footwear, warm old clothes and a packed lunch. Hand tools provided.
